The team faced stiff competition from some of the best college teams in the region, but their rigorous training, strategic gameplay, and team spirit kept them going strong. The Grand Finale – A Match to Remember The final match, played against a formidable opponent, was nothing short of a nail-biting thriller. Batting first, Government Science College posted a competitive total of 180 runs in 20 overs, thanks to an explosive batting performance by captain Rahul Kumar, who scored a crucial 65 runs off 40 balls. The middle order contributed significantly, ensuring a strong total on the board. In response, the opposing team started strong but was soon put under pressure by the exceptional bowling attack of Arjun Gowda and Sameer Ahmed, who took 3 wickets each, restricting the opponents to 165 runs. The last few overs were filled with tension, but the Government Science College bowlers held their nerve to clinch a 15-run victory.
